Registered Massage Therapy
Postpartum Doula - Certifying
Get to know Stacey!
Hi there!
I am a Registered Massage Therapist, in good standing with the CMTO (College of Massage Therapist’s of Ontario), since 2015. I attended Sir Sanford Fleming College, where I completed my first year in Fitness and Health Promotion. I soon learned, I loved learning about the body and decided to enrol in the Massage Therapy program. Three years later, I received my advanced diploma in Massage Therapy, eager to start my career helping people!
In August 2015, I started working at a busy multidisciplinary chiropractor clinic, in Markham. I am the Massage Therapist I am today, because of the practitioners I had the pleasure to work with for the first 7 years of my career.
In 2019, my husband and I decided to venture back to Peterborough, (where we met!) and purchase our first home. For the past 3 years, I have been slowly moving my practice closer to home. I started part-time at Willow Studio, June 2021, and I couldn’t be happier! It is bitter sweet, saying goodbye to my long-time Markham clients; however, I'm very excited for this new chapter.
In January 2022, I decided to openly share and promote my home practice. Before this website and online booking platform, I ran it mainly by word of mouth. However, thanks to all my wonderful clients, it has turned into something amazing!
Continued Education
Thanks to Willow Studio, Stacey has found a new passion helping women through their peri/ postnatal journey. She has completed the GrowCo postpartum rehabilitation for healthcare professionals course, and is currently certifying to be a Postpartum Doula. She is looking forward to helping families transition, smoothly into their newest life adventure, offering support to growing households. Stacey is confident that her Massage Therapy background paired with her newest continued education she will be a great asset to your postpartum journey. She is dedicated to help fill the void in this area of health care and will continue to educate herself to be able to help as many people and families as possible.
Family and Hobbies
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Clayton, and our black lab, Rosie. You can usually find me in the kitchen, my passion is cooking and baking. We have a large family so there is always a hungry mouth around to feed. I love it!
I was lucky to grow up with a family cottage in the Kawartha's on Chandos Lake in Apsley. My husband's family cottage is on Pigeon Lake in Buckhorn, so we can usually be found in the summer months near a lake!
